TRUSTED ADVOCATE
Teachers and parents in my schools know they can count on me to keep them informed and to seek their input on issues within our district as I advocate for them. I love diving into data and coming up with innovative solutions. I am a stickler for state code and have repeatedly been instrumental in guiding our district toward upholding state laws. I am committed to supporting every child in our schools, and I’ve worked consistently with district leaders to help special programs stay strong. I love bringing people with diverse beliefs together to build on common ground and work together for a brighter future.

EXPERIENCED EDUCATOR
I’ve taught in every grade from preschool through 5th and loved every minute of it! I've seen the needs of students & parents from the classroom perspective and understand how teachers can be better supported in their professional work. I earned a Bachelors degree in Education from Brigham Young University and a Masters degree in Education from Webster University. I currently teach at a non-public school in Lindon.

ENGAGED PARENT
I have 5 children in Alpine School District in elementary, junior high, and high school. I love public education and want to make it better for generations to come!

ACTIVE VOLUNTEER
I’ve spent thousands of hours volunteering in my children’s schools. I’ve successfully organized school carnival fundraisers and reflections art programs for years. I am thrilled to be a part of our school’s production team for stellar performances of Beauty and the Beast Jr and Aladdin Jr. I cherish the time I carved out of my schedule each Friday to read with second graders in my daughter’s classroom.

EFFECTIVE LEADER​
Over the years I’ve been grateful to serve in many leadership capacities on Local and Council PTA’s and on School Community Councils. I have a strong track record and have worked closely with legislators, teachers, and parents in shaping laws and creating policies to better serve us all. I was honored to earn the support of the Utah County Republican Party during last year’s election.
