About Me

I grew up in Utah County, where I graduated from Brigham Young University and taught elementary school before moving to St. Louis, Missouri in 2002. While there, I earned a Masters in Education and continued teaching for several years before starting a family. 14 years ago we moved back to Utah County. My husband, Jesse, and I currently reside in Lindon with our five children. Now that all my children are attending public school full-time, I am happy to be back in the classroom as a teacher again. In my free time, I love to travel, read, and spend time making memories with my family.
I am very passionate about service. I have served in many capacities in local PTA’s and School Community Councils. I have held leadership roles in humanitarian and advocacy organizations here in Utah. I am committed to meeting the needs of all in my stewardship.
I was excited to run for school board in 2024 but unfortunately had to withdraw suddenly when a rogue virus attacked several nerves in my inner ear- leading to hearing loss, facial paralysis, and an inability to walk or drive. I am pleased to report that through a combination of rest, physical therapy, and a series of miracles I have made a full recovery and am excited not only to walk but to run for our new school board in 2025.
